A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★Installed on an android 4.4 phone. Appeared to be working, now it is "free". . Tried to load the first story, but except for the banner ad, only saw the "loading" message for several minutes before giving up.
1 ★Not free. They are filthy, greedy pieces of garbage and should be ashamed of themselves. Not only do they charge $10 to read ONE SINGLE ARTICLE, but also have ads all over the place. Absolutely appalling. I recommend WTAP or one of the other numerous free news sources. Not sure what the idiots at news and sentinel are thinking, but this will not work out well for them.
1 ★They have recently decided to start charging to read their newspaper online. I am surprised this app is still free. Oh wait....they only give you 3 articles and 3 needs obits to read. I am uninstalling this app and will not read again until free. I will read a paper if one is laying around buy, yes, I am cheap and cannot afford extra money going out for a newspaper.
1 ★Never was Great but now that they charge it is an insult and a cheap shot at the public and a waste of hard drive space. Use WTAP (TNC) app for all of your news information.
1 ★They recently made it where you must pay to read the entire paper, not that the entire paper was even on the app. The app now only has the top 3 articles & 3 obituaries THEY choose for you to read.
1 ★Same old biased news nobody wants to hear. I'll go to wtap
2 ★Expected a view of the paper on line like The Times West Virginian. There you view the printed pages and pick your articles to read.
5 ★Good app.
3 ★The good: Your app didn't crash on the first run after updating it this time, font size selection is being saved, and the new layout is (generally) easier to read. The bad: App doesn't rotate when device does (doesn't bother me, but - from reading reviews of other apps - might bother others), every article shows 0 comments, because there appears to be no way of leaving them (which the "0 comments" statement brings to people's attention), and your newspaper is desperately crying for a proofreading dept.
1 ★Was working fine and I loved it. Now I just get "error downloading feed" tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I get the same message!
5 ★Very smooth UI. On par with other large new organization apps on the market. Would like to see a widget in the future.
1 ★When it comes to shoddy coverage, poor photography, amateur writing and ugly layout & design, The Parkersburg News and Sentinel is the area's leader. But, since the website is so awful most people don't even check, this app is the only alternative.
