Ayo Cek Gizi merupakan aplikasi untuk mengetahui status gizi anak sekolah dan kandungan gizi pangan jajanan anak sekolah (PJAS).Kandungan zat gizi yang ditampilkan bukan merupakan angka mutlak, namun dapat dijadikan acuan untuk mengetahui tinggi atau rendahnya kandungan zat gizi PJAS.
Aplikasi ini membantu anak sekolah atau orang tua dalam merencanakan dan menilai asupan gizi yang diperoleh dari menu sarapan atau pangan jajanan. Setiap menu dihitung berdasarkan Angka Kecukupan Gizi untuk anak usia 7 sampai 12 tahun.
Aplikasi ini belum mencakup seluruh jenis pangan jajanan anak sekolah, namun kami berupaya menyediakan jenis pangan jajanan yang banyak dijumpai dan sering dikonsumsi anak sekolah.
Perhitungan kandungan gizi PJAS disajikan dalam ukuran porsi, namun karena data ukuran porsi masih terbatas, maka perhitungan kandungan gizi disajikan dalam gram (g) atau mililiter (ml). Untuk mengetahui ukuran porsi yang dikonsumsi sebaiknya dilakukan penimbangan atau mengukur volume PJAS.
