Description
Mit dem OsteoGuide zur Diagnostik und Therapie der Osteoporose steht erstmals eine Leitlinien-App für Ärztinnen und Ärzte aus dem Hause MedMedia zur Verfügung. Der OsteoGuide wurde in Zusammenarbeit mit der Österreichischen Gesellschaft für Knochen und Mineralstoffwechsel (ÖGKM) entwickelt und basiert auf der Kurzfassung der 2012 herausgegebenen „Leitlinien für die Praxis – Osteoporose“ der ÖGKM.Highlights der App sind u. a. ein Algorithmus für die medikamentöse Therapie,m der unmittelbar zu den empfohlenen Therapiemaßnahmen und Medikationen führt, ein Überblick über die physikalischen, rehabilitativen und orthetischen Maßnahmen bei Osteoporose sowie Kalkulationsschemata für die optimale Supplementation von Kalzium und Vitamin D3. Der Volltext der Leitlinienkurzfassung ist direkt aus der App abrufbar.
Bei Änderungen in den ÖGKM-Leitlinien werden Updates der App/des OpsteoGuide veröffentlicht.
Der OsteoGuide ist ausschließlich für die Verwendung durch medizinisches Personal bestimmt und daher passwortgeschützt. Die Freischaltung der Inhalte er folgt aus der App mittels Registrierung auf der Website des MedMedia Verlags unter www.medmedia.at/apps/osteoguide.
