The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). 3 ★Units are shown as "mb". Is that megabytes? Megabits? Powers of 2 or 10? At a minimum either Mb, MB, or MiB should be used for clarity. This is kinda important for an app designed to report metrics.
3 ★I am looking for a traffic monitoring & reporting application based on wlan SSID. For example, at home I use an SSID which is free and does not have any limitation. But when mobile , I am using my mobi wifi router havelimited data plan and that costs money. So I'd like to specially measure how much I use on that specific SSID. Also I am using some media transfer apps through wifi like share it, xender, etc. Please add a facility to count the wifi data usage of different ssid (provider)
1 ★Each time I ran the app it asked me to accept the EULA agreement, which I did initially, every time I ran it (uh?). I then continued. It placed an icon in the notification bar and sat there - forever, telling me it was "updating". Updating what? It certainly wasn't updating my traffic statistics all of which remained steadfastly at zero. As others suggest, this is now perhaps just spyware accessing your personal data. Perhaps the PRO version which you have to have for virtually any function other than the bare basics (perhaps even to have it count your data traffic - who knows) which the dev prods you toward all the time, gives you back your personal data and even a little bit of actual functionality - at a price? LOL. Tacky app. AVOID.
5 ★Great app with alarm & different thresholds. Wonderful! And still the only one able to set a weekly threshold! My favourite and only traffic counter.
5 ★A pity that the autor seems to have lost interest in Traffic Counter. It is a small app with very low system resources usage. It works perfectly well in the background, and in that it is unique among all cell data usage monitoring apps. There are fancier looking data apps out there, most of them being overloaded heavy pigs, which call back home frequently from the background and thus actually increasing data usage. Traffic counter uses only the permissions needed for it's operation, as far as I can see. Traffic Counter could benefit from a little interface update. If the autor could consider upgrading also to display the applications cell and wifi usage separately, I will gladly pay for a Pro version. Since Onava has been "upgraded" to be useless it is the right time now. Peter Kroll, Singapore

5 ★Simply the best trafic counter there is for Android. Good pressentation of data (except for the surface diagram, should be a historiogram), exelent breakdown per app, seems accurate, nice widget.
5 ★This is a great app. Does what it promises to do. The data is pretty accurate and also has a pretty good framework for generating statistics from your usages. Must have if you want to keep a check on your usages and if you want to cross check the bill your provider gives you.
3 ★It's ok except that the cell suddenly now cannot track the correct number & it's just track that I download a lot more which I really don't, can that be fix?
3 ★I had two Android (Froyo, ICS) and worked flawlessly and now on JB 4.2.2. does not show Cell counting??? It was my favourite and most trusting app. Maybe work on update?
