Description
The Guntur District Cooperative Central Bank Ltd., Guntur is having 35 branches, 167 PACS catering to the needs of around 3,00,000 farmers.The total deposits of Bank as on 31.03.2016 stood at Rs. 591.20 crores and as on 31.03.2015 was Rs. 528.73 crores. The total loan outstanding of the Bank as on 31.03.2016 stood at Rs. 824.92 crores and the position as on 31.03.2015 was Rs. 817.38 crores.
The total borrowings of the Bank as on 31.03.2016 was Rs. 589.13 crores and as on 31.03.2015 was Rs. 540.69 crores. The total investments of the Bank as on 31.03.2016 were Rs. 559.16 crores and as on 31. 03. 2015 were Rs. 406.41 crores.
The Bank has not defaulted to APCOB and also not defaulted in maintenance of CRR & SLR during the year.
The Agricultural Gold loans are being issued at 7 % and Non- Agricultural gold loans at 12.00%. And per gram rate for Agrl. Gold loans is is Rs.1400/- or 70 % of Bullion value, whichever is less and for Non –Agrl. Gold Loans is Rs. 1800/- or 70 % of Bullion value, whichever is less.
The total gold loan outstanding as on 31.03.2016 was Rs.77.56 crores (Out of which Agrl. Gold loans – Rs.4.77 crores and Non-Agrl. – Rs. 72.79 crores). As on 31.03.2015 the total Gold Loan outstanding is Rs.116.58 crores (Out of which Agrl. Gold Loans Rs.22.20 crores and Non-Agrl. Gold loans Rs.94.38 crores).
The CRAR as on 31.03.2015 is 14.40 %, whereas the ratio stood at 12.47 % as on 31.03.2014.
The Bank is being issued Cash Credit against mortgage of property. Under this scheme the Bank will finance upto Rs.10.00 lakhs in Guntur Muncipal Corporation limits, upto Rs. 6.00 lakhs in Tenali and Narasaraopet Muncipal limits and Rs.5.00 lakhs in other municipalities and upto Rs. 3.00 lakhs in Villages of Guntur District.
The Bank has introduced a new scheme “Secured Over Draft” by mortgage of agriculuture lands and RCC Buildings and will finance upto Rs.20.00 lakhs @ 14.00% simple interest. Due date is 31st March and can be renewed upto 3 years.
The Bank is providing cash credit facility to primary Weavers Cooperative Societies under NABARD refinance scheme and from own funds. At present the Bank has extended this facility to 41 regular PWCS to a tune of Rs. 429.55 lakhs
