Description

The Implicit Association Test (IAT) is a procedure that detects automatic and unconscious associations between ideas, concepts and categories, providing a measure of how beliefs, attitudes and stereotypes may be more or less strong and deep-rooted.
In this case, the Gender-Career IAT often reveals a relative link between family and females and between career and males.
How it works:
are presented a set of words to classify into groups, as quickly as possible, making as few mistakes as possible. The interaction with the screen can be done in 2 ways: through 2 virtual buttons at the bottom of the screen, or, in the second mode, the screen is split into 2 parts and you can interact by simply pressing the left side or right side of the screen (in the app are given detailed instructions on how to proceed). In the Settings menu, you can choose the mode of interaction and access to some research options.
At the end of the test (which takes about 5 minutes), will provide a brief interpretation of the results obtained based on the response times recorded by the software. In this regard, the developer wants to clarify that this interpretation is a hypothesis and has no claim to absolute validity.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★And like other comments, ii would love to have all the other tests available on the implicit project. Thank you so much!
3 ★I'm a bit disappointed in the app...it doesn't provide a clear and conciseopinion, and it only compares your tendencies to compare men with work andwoman with families, or vise versa. It has changed Every time I completethis test.
4 ★Would be nice to cover more subjects besides just gender bias.
3 ★I would like this to have racial and sexual orientation IATS as well.
3 ★It's great to have this as an app; wouldn't it be easy to load it with a plethora of other tests?
5 ★Needs the full range of tests from the IAT project. Perfect otherwise.
5 ★I had no idea what the app was supposed to do but having taken the test it is quite good at explaining the results and what they mean. Short lived use app though so once you have used it...expect to uninstall.
5 ★Good/applies to social psychology
5 ★Great app clearly helps demonstrate some of innate biases we all have as a result of growing in western culture. BUT the order of the experiment should be change! Put the test men/career + women/family first before men/family + women/career. In doing so the result of the experiment is made more clear since the tests will be presented in the order of increasing difficulty. You will feel the tests get harder and thus see your innate biases at work!
3 ★While the idea of this is good, I'm not sure if it works for me. My reaction time between each answer was pretty much the same on every item. So that really puts me at a disadvantage since it says I have little to no bias one way or the other. Sooo.... I may or may not (not sure). So - eh. It's an interesting app though. No flashy graphics to slow you down which is nice for this kind of app.
2 ★It's a very poor test whenever and where ever it was invented. It critically lacks depth. Consider remaking it using general semantics (Null-A).
4 ★It shows scores based on how fast and how many things u put in the wrong column part of my problem is if u r not fast at typing with your thumbs ( I am not) then u suck at it oh well it's cool though not a keeper though
