- Be careful when deleting unlocked media files. If you do that, you will lost media files. Steps to recover it : Safe Gallery Reinstall > Setting > Lock Media Recovery
- If you delete ".SafeGallery" folder in SDcard, locked files will be deleted.
- If you choose "Clear data" menu(path : Settings > Applications manager > Safe Gallery (Free)), information of locked files will be deleted.
- App which has function like cleaning up storage(ex. Clean Master) might be able to delete locked media, so do not delete any relative files of Safe Gallery while cleaning up your smartphone.
- Do not forget to unlock and back up locked medias before upgrading firmware or formatting internal/external SDcard If not, all locked medias might be able to be deleted.
- Before deleting Safe Gallery, do not forget to unlock all locked medias and then delete Safe Gallery. If not, all locked medias might be able to be deleted.

4 ★I have always liked this app so I paid for the ad free to support dev. One thing I have noticed is that when the app is minimized, it vanishes from the recent screen. BUT if you open it again, you are required to enter pw, just, you only have to click back to access all files. Seems like a problem, although not for me personally. Just saying that that could be better.
1 ★What the hell wrong with this app i was using this app before and I was quiet impressed also but now I'm installing it again then it won't show any privacy, this app directly show in home screen there was not option to hide this app .
1 ★Seems ok when you first use it, but when you keep using it you notice alot of bugs that are a real concern. When you want to delete a folder or more of them and press delete the application does nothing. When you want to unlock the folder the application just crashes and doesn't let you. And now it just corrupted a number of photos I had from years back. It's a no from me. And I actually bought the ad free version thinking it was good. First and last time I do such a thing.
4 ★Unable to delete hidden files 😑
1 ★Update: Recent update fix is STILL NOT FIXED (LG Q6) If it ain't broken, don't fix it. How will I recover my files? Orig review: After the update, the App does not run nor open. All I get is a pop-up saying that "Safe gallery has stopped". I tried restarting my phone and reinstalling the app but nothing has worked. I am using LG Q6. Hope you could do something about this issue soon. Thank you.
1 ★At the beginning for some months the app was working fine. Then suddenly out of no reason it stopped opening and all my media was lost. I tried uninstalling and then reinstalling but it made no difference. The damage was done and all photos and vedios were gone. There is no support from teachnical team as well. It's not worth trust.

2 ★this new updated version is not as good as previous. I am using this app from last 4 year. previous version have exceltn function which is u can recover the media pic and other things by simple cliking on recover media. I did this things several without backup bcoz I knew that there is a function which recover all the hide data. I tried this in new updated safe gallery but it disapointed me soo much and a I even lost my data and recovered by using recover media under setting option plz help me...
2 ★It is always good to receive an update for one of the best App all time . But the latest update was not anymore useful for us since that only made it worse . Before removing that update , you should provided another provision to acces the app which u failed to do . Please make a concern of this because after reading the recent reviews , this has been a major setback for most of the users who haven't got any backup.. please revert ASAP.
5 ★Love the app but it got disabled automatically. And then i couldn't find it anywhere in my app drawer so then I had to uninstall it and then install it again but in this process I lost all my photos and videos. they were important to me,please fix this.
