Description

This app does one thing. It displays your current US National Grid (USNG) location using the GPS chip in your device. Once loaded, it will work with, or without, an internet connection. Location information is displayed to a precision of 33’ (10 meters). If GPS precision is less than 33’, trailing digits of the display will turn red and have a horizontal line through them. This app does not have ads, store your location, nor send your location to anyone.

How to install USNGapp APK on Android phone or tablet?

5 ★This is a basic, but useful, app. It uses the US National Grid, an alternate system of navigation about which most people may be unaware. It utilizes data from both GPS and lat/long coordinates to determine location. It is being used more by Amateur Radio Operators (hams) who work with local EOC's to provide emergency communications; in this usage, it is more precise than the Maidenhead Grid Square system, which itself is accurate. The USNGapp is a simple app which I recommend highly! -- NØJAA.

5 ★Military veterans will feel right at home with this. Simple, accurate, and fast. No waiting for Google maps to load. No data signal needed. Just a view of the GPS satellites in the sky.

5 ★In any emergency situation where you need to relay your location fast, it does not get any simpler than this. The feed automatically gives you your coordinates live. Nice work SharedGeo.

5 ★A good app for those not educated in coordinate systems. Would be easy for a user to utilize in an emergency. On con is the way position uncertainty is expressed.
