Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

4 ★This is a mostly great app. I am colorblind and work in the sciences with a lot of equipment such as drones, GPS units, intelligent batteries. All of these devices have colored lights indicating if they are connecting properly to other devices or charged / charging properly. The most common is a color differentiation between red and green lights. I can almost never tell them apart. The Colorblind Helper app is working great for some colors. But, when it comes to color names like Spring Bud, this is not helpful. While, yes, Spring Bud is likely green, you get my point. There are other names in the CH database that aren't obvious. I would love it if you would develop a basic color database where colors are greatly simplified or roll up to a basic color. Sort of like species roll up from species to phylum. Spring Bud could roll up to just plain old green. Thanks! I love your app and idea to help out. -Geoff
3 ★Almost exactly what I need. But I guess I need to tell the developers *I'M COLORBLIND!!!* There is literally no need for colors to be titled things like "sunburst maplewood" or "spiced cider crimson". Don't church it up, fools. Light Brown. Dark Brown. Reddish Brown. It's not rocket science.
5 ★I'm a colour blind editor and this really helps when going into colour grading. The names of the colours mean nothing to me, but I can screenshot images I am editing and put them in the app, and now I can do it all so much easier
2 ★I am a color blind person and what I need to know is basic colors (green, red, blue yellow, brown). Colors like Tan, cenereous, or gold fusion doesn't mean anything for me. What I mean is that I don't know if Tan (for example) belongs to green, brown or orange groups.
2 ★I'm red green color blind and thought it would help me identify resistor color codes. I want just the primary color not an extravagant name. Doesn't help.
5 ★Wow this is really helpful for people who are color blind, thanks!!
