Auch wenn ein Receiver falsch konfiguriert oder inkompatibel mit einer Einkabel-Anlage ist oder sich im Erstinstallationsmodus befindet, werden an anderen programmierten Dosen angeschlossene Geräte nicht beeinträchtigt. Dadurch ist ein störungsfreier Betrieb der gesamten Einkabel-Sat-Anlage wohnungsübergreifend und dauerhaft gewährleistet. Zum Prüfen und Bearbeiten der Konfiguration einer TechniSat Einkabel-Steckdose wird die TechniSat RVcontrol App verwendet.
Mit dieser App ist es möglich, User-Bänder an einer kompatiblen Einkabel-Steckdose schnell und intuitiv zu sperren oder freizugeben. Außerdem kann mit Hilfe der App die Konfiguration der Dose gegen unautorisierte Änderungen mittels PIN-Code geschützt werden.
