This application is configured as a demonstration of Alluvial Joules Sensor System capabilities and allows for data file playback and analysis. A compliant Data File stored in "Download" phone directory is needed and available by email.Alluvial Joules - We have started few years ago with an idea of a shoe mounted sensing system that would allow real time measurement of the training progress and energy disposition efficiency instead estimates and guesses. Behind the Idea stand Saul Raisin (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saul_Raisin). Accomplished bicycle rider, runner, exceptional athlete and very humble man. At that time however Bluetooth was still very new and our system using ZigBee Radio was rather cumbersome to use. You can see out early efforts at www.alluvialjoules.com. Since then we were searching for better technologies for our sensors, processor, communication and data display and developing our Intellectual Property resulting with Patent #8,467,979.
Now, when the wearable technologies are blooming we are fully ready for deployment of our product. We are not first to the market with our idea of Power and Energy efficiency measurement directly from the foot-to-ground interface. There are organizations providing scientific grade instruments at exuberated price for research and specific medical use where the price does not matter and a cumbersome solution are still acceptable. Similar ideas are funded by NSF, DHHS on other governmental agencies in excess of millions and over many decades. We believe however that our solid idea, professionally developed Intellectual Property and already fully functional system will be most successful, even though we did all of this with our own money and engineering ingenuity. This is our final push to market. We are targeting professional runners and running enthusiasts. Our technology should also find many other applications, including in medical field and for quality of life monitoring.
