What is hepatitis?
Hepatitis is an inflammation of the liver that can be due to various causes, although it is usually a virus that is responsible for the condition. Hepatitis C

Hepatitis D
It is the most serious form of viral hepatitis. Hepatitis D virus (HDV), also called delta hepatitis, is transmitted through the same pathways as the hepatitis B virus. It is a very special virus because it requires the existence of a hepatitis B virus to survive in the human being. Therefore, when someone is infected with HDV, they are also absolutely infected with HBV. This is because the outer sheath of the VHD is made up of part of the HBV. It is estimated that 5% of patients with hepatitis B are coinfected with the hepatitis D virus.
