Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★When I buy an ebook, I want an ebook, not one that is tied to a particular reader. I want all my ebooks to be accessible on 1, or at most 2, readers. Use epubs, then I can download to a reader that has a good range of facilities. On my asus transformer tf101, the MIT reader does not allow annotation or highlighting. Before going down the MIT reader route, consider whether a kindle version of a book from Amazon might not be a better route, even if it is slightly more expensive. I have bought 1 ebook from MIT because it was a few dollars cheaper than from Amazon, and now I am contemplating buying the kindle version (also to read on my Transformer!!!) because the facilities are so much better. I certainly won't buy any more from MIT directly
1 ★Dear MIT. Love the online course. Love the book. Hate the eReader: learning to program has been easier than figuring out how to navigate.. Please find a better one, or get the publisher to improve: this app is unworthy of your brand.
1 ★App is slow. Unresponsive. The pages don't turn on the Android app! Which is kind of useful in a book. [Sarcasm on full] Worse the MIT ebooks don't work on Linux without jumping through crazy hoops to install Adobe Air. If I buy an OReilly ebook I get a DRM free book in multiple formats that I can use with my Kindle, on my Android device and on my computer. I won't buy another ebook from MIT until you get some clue.
2 ★it does whatever it wants to. sometimes i get lucky and read what i want, but that doesn't happen too often. i'm trying to use it on my nexus 5, by the way. how come this is from MIT?
1 ★Lousy implementation of an ebookstore. Disappointing reading experience. Better go Amazon if available.
1 ★Somewhat disappointed to see such low quality app from MIT. I should have ordered a hardcopy version...
3 ★Unresponsive or slow scrolling on my HTC One
5 ★Awesome app
5 ★Scrolling could be a little smoother, I feel like it doesn't load enough of the book into ram, but what do I know? Maybe it's just the size/complexity of the book I purchased.
1 ★My experience with this company is that it ignores request for help weather through email or online. Although the tech person said he would request a refund for me because the server has been down for several days and I had no response for help from them a refund was never issued and they have been impossible to contact. The company's laptop version of its ereader looks like and works like it's from the windows 95 era.
5 ★Thank you
