Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

1 ★User hostile.
1 ★Very frustrating app. Not intuitive at all. Sucks
1 ★This app is horrible I am going to cancel my subscription just because I cannot use the app. The don't deliver paper on time and app is supposed to make up for that.
1 ★Have been trying for several months and can n I think get the app to work on android device
1 ★All it does is search and never comes up. Been over a week
1 ★The Huntsville Times has gone from a poorly written and edited printed newspaper to a poorly executed e-edition. The Android app is poorly programmed, extremely slow on Asus Transformer and Droid Bionic, display is not very good, sometimes content is scrambled, page-turn does not work, and on and on and on. Unfortunately, it is the only show in town. The e-edition accessed on the web works fairly well on a PC, but, for the app which is supposed to give you portability with the Huntsville Times e-edition on your mobile is sorely lacking usability.
1 ★Typical from the Hsv Times. Launch the app w/o making sure users can at least login. Pitiful.
1 ★The app always gives an error about an incorrect username or password. I have tried resetting it several times, but that does not help. I can even use the same username and password to log into the browser version, just not the native Android app. Emails to the Huntsville Times went unanswered.
1 ★In desperate need of an update, this is abandonware. Don't contact the Dev, you won't hear back.
1 ★Always crashes when browsing the special sections at the end (like the "Go" section)
1 ★Can't log in, force closes. Galaxy SIII.
3 ★I can't get my I buddie to hold the download
