CAT SIMULATION CPNS 2017 merupakan aplikasi yang bertujuan untuk membantu para calon peserta seleksi CPNS 2017 dalam mengahadapi seleksi TKD (Tes Kemampuan Dasar). TKD CAT pada seleksi CPNS 2017 terdiri dari tiga bagian tes, diantaranya:• Tes Wawasan Kebangsaan (TWK)
• Tes Intelegensi Umum (TIU)
• Tes Karakteristik Pribadi (TKP)
Didalam aplikasi CAT SIMULATION CPNS 2017 terdapat berbagai seri soal mulai dari simulasi soal Tes Wawasan Kebangsaan (TWK), Simulasi Soal Tes Intelegensi Umum (TIU), Simulasi Soal Tes Karakteristik Pribadi (TKP) beserta pembahasannya disetiap seri soal. Selain itu didalam aplikasi ini CAT SIMULATION CPNS 2017 terdapat bonus tambahan yaitu gambaran Simulasi perhitungan gaji PNS kementerian/Lembaga yang didapat selama bertugas didalam kementerian/lembaga. Juga terdapat rangkuman hafalan UUD 1945 (Undang-Undang Dasar) 1945.
Jumlah total soal yang ada pada TKD berjumlah 100 soal yang terbagi kedalam 35 soal untuk TWK Tes Wawasan Kebangsaan, 35 soal TIU Tes Intelegensi Umum, 30 soal TKP Tes Wawasan Kebangsaan. TKD (Tes Kemampuan Dasar) dikerjakan dalam 90 menit dengan sistem seleksi CAT (Computer Assisted Test).
Ditahun 2017/2018, pemerintah indonesia membuka formasi bagi CPNS di wilayah kementerian dan non-kementrian. Setidaknya terdapat 61 Instansi pemerintah yang membuka formasi CPNS di tahun ini, seperti kemenkumham (kementrian hukum dan ham), kemenkeu (kementerian keungan), Kementerian ESDM, kemendikbud, kkp (kementerian kelautan dan perikanan), Kementerian kordinator Bidang ekonomi, bakamla, dll.
