A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

5 ★Phenomenal step 2 preparation app, really wish I had it for step 1... Superior to first aid, firecracker, and usmle rx in terms of quality and depth of content, plus seamless integration with its extensive question bank. Perfect for initial learning, but slightly less ideal for final high yield review (however does have a high yield mode I've yet to explore). Quality of questions is 1b, to the 1a of Uworld. Additionally useful as a point of care resource for treatment and management.
5 ★I absolutely love amboss. Have been using it since quite a few months. Used it with a the generous scholarship they offered me. With time I found it so useful I finally got a subscription ! Cannot find a more wholistic and better resource.

4 ★Great app, the only suggestion I would make is to please merge this app with the knowledge app. It would be very nice if we didn't have to have two separate apps to access everything.
5 ★Great QBank! It is like HIIT training for medical student's brain. You learn more in less time.All the info you need just pops out whenever you are puzzled about something, so you don' t have to search on internet. Like it a lot
5 ★A must use resource along with its library for usmle steps and school preparation. The questions are challenging and the answers are well organised with scans and histology/diagrams. Highly recommend!
5 ★Amboss made me another student, the way they explain diseases and how to approach and manage your patient in an advanced manner is unique. Amboss Q-bank also amazing with more than 4900+ qusesions. Also Amboss articles with images real Vs electronic , diagrams, tables , videos ...etc If I have the time to give an advice to every medical student all around the world the best online resource it will be Amboss!
1 ★Recently very slow to load question sets, move between questions, click into images in questions, and click out of images in questions. This was not the case 3 months ago.
4 ★i believe the price should be lower for the service it provides. also, some questions are too specific and are not that interesting for a clinical practice. the rest is perfect

2 ★With recent updates this app has become borderline unusable. Constant interface issues and bugs. Making my studies difficult. Otherwise fantastic content.
