1 ★I pre ordered and received in May. Like everyone else it has become just a speaker. The remote worked . Now I am sending it back under warranty because it won't charge. I always try to find something positive the speaker quality is good and I like the fact that when the remote works I can type in a smart$#@ Comment for the robot voice to heckle my friends
2 ★No way to save round data?! Why? Connected to Bushnell Hybrid without a problem. Yardages seem about right. Flyover view of hole is great feature, and targeting interface is clear and effective. These really nice features all suggest that someone who understands golf had at least a little input into the design. How, then, did they end up with a scorecard feature where the data doesn't save? It defeats the purpose of tracking the specific data during the round. This HAS to be fixed.
1 ★Pretty much just a speaker with a magnet on the back, the app is just horrible, had the speaker paired with the app but the remote would not pair, I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it followed the instructions and still nothing can't even pair the speaker now, guess I'll be returning this and stick to my Altec Lansing speaker. It's a great idea that's just not ready to be released yet.
1 ★Decent app but wingman remote is awful. As everyone says it is just a speaker. Remote paired perfectly the first time and was excellent. Every round after that it was a battle for front 9 to try and pair before I gave up. I have failed to pair the remote over 6 rounds after the 1 successful attempt. Speaking to others with the same issue that have contacted customer service say they ask you to replace remote battery and restart devices. It will work once and then fail again as usual.
1 ★Same as all the other 1 star reviews. Would give 0 stars if it were an option. Bushnell has taken a great idea and totally failed on delivery. Worked great first time out. Then nothing. You say you made a fix in an update but it's still doing the same thing. The remote will not connect to bluetooth no matter what you do or how many times you uninstall and reinstall. So very disappointed. I'll be returning mine this weekend.
2 ★I can't save scores and stats for a permanent record nor even get it emailed to me. This is unbelievable. "Buy the watch, get the app for free! We have this feature! We have that feature! But yeah, ya know, like you can't save scores after you end the round. Like, ya know, you either gotta use the good 'ol manual scorecard method or use ANOTHER APP for that.". Basic requirement for a golf app and you don't have it. Really unbelievable.
4 ★Was able to get the app and the Phantom running just fine. However, after exploring the app I was very disappointed to see that it doesn't have anywhere to track your score during the game, only after you've completed a round. Swing by Swing might not be as accurate but at least helps you track your shots during the game. Something from Bushnell should be able to do the same thing!
2 ★Remote is terrible. Everything worked fine for first 2 rounds. Now the remote will not pair. Ive unpaired, reinstalled, went through recommended steps from tech support. Nothing. So I can now only use it as a speaker. Such a great idea but there are a lot of kinks to work out.
2 ★The app is not as good as it should be seeing that Bushnell has been making rangefinders for decades. It seems to fail to advance to the next hole to often. The biggest issue with the app is that the Bushnell website says that you can track your score and that is not true. There is no way to download your past rounds or look over previous scores to see where you are losing strokes. What is the point of having a scorecard in the app with tracking putts, GIR and fairways hit if you can't go back and review it? I have been using my Bushnell Hybrid for well over a year and I really like it, but the app needs serious work!
1 ★Remote does not work. When it worked I had to open my phone and the app to see the yardage - it would only tell me distance from the tee (which would come up prematurely before I hit the tee box so useless). Great concept but way too buggy for this price tag- wow! How could you not find these problems and fix them before production???
1 ★The Bushnell range finder device is great. The app, not so much. The app has one or two nice features but is seriously lacking, maybe look at what the Tag Heur app can do. You cannot even view a previous scorecard once you have captured it. I also keep getting annoying notifications that the app is still running. No option to exit.
2 ★I use this with my wingman speaker, but really just as a normal music player now. The Bushnell app is the problem for me. When indrag around my target on the course to plan my distance to the next shot, the marker reverts back to its default location. I would also like to have an option to adjust the volume of the read aloud yardages, golf claps and cheers, and custom message. And the app is not adjusted to phones with cutouts so I cannot read the yardages at the top of the page for any hole.
