SIGFPI - Sistema de Informações Gerenciais da Fiscalização Preventiva IntegradaO Sistema tem por objetivo dar suporte computacional ao Programa da FPI nas bacias hidrográficas dos rios São Francisco e Paraguaçu em suas quatro fases: Planejamento, Execução, Audiência Pública e Desdobramentos.
Iniciado em 2002 na bacia hidrográfica do rio São Francisco e estendido em 2014 para a bacia do rio Paraguaçu, o Programa de Fiscalização Preventiva Integrada - FPI - está voltado para diagnosticar os danos ambientais nestas bacias hidrográficas e adotar medidas preventivas e de responsabilização dos agentes causadores dos danos ambientais. Este Programa é uma ação integrada e continuada dos diversos órgãos federais e estatuais de fiscalização ambiental, de saúde, do trabalho e de defesa do patrimônio cultural, dos Ministérios Públicos e das polícias, sob a coordenação geral do MPBA.
