L’application myFSHD vidéo a été développé dans le cadre du projet PROGRESS FSHD, lauréat de l’Appel à Manifestation d’Intérêt pour accélérer la recherche et l’innovation grâce aux bases de données, financé par l’Agence Nationale pour la Recherche. Ce projet est porté par le Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Nice et l’équipe du Pr. Sacconi, cheffe du service Système Nerveux Périphérique et Muscle (SNPM).L'objectif général de l'étude PROGRESS FSHD est d'évaluer la faisabilité de l'évaluation à distance pour suivre les patients atteints de dystrophie musculaire facioscapulohumérale (DMFSH), via une application mobile nommée myFSHD. Cette application permettra de collecter des informations sur la qualité de vie (douleurs, fatigue, sommeil, activité physique et impact socio-économique de la maladie) ainsi que des vidéos d’exercices pour évaluer les capacités fonctionnelles des patients (se lever d’une chaise, lever les bras…). Grâce à ses informations, l’équipe pourra déterminer dans quelle mesure une évaluation à distance est possible et comment les évaluations faites à domicile se compare avec les évaluations faites à l’hôpital
