Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★This app used 6gb data over the cell network while connected to WiFi. All settings on phone correct.
1 ★If an app isn't perfect, don't release it. Doesn't work. Total crap
4 ★Very good apps
1 ★Rubbish not working at all waste of time.
5 ★Works flawlessly. (At least with every recorder I've tested it with.) All of the reviews on here stating that the app doesn't work, or complaining about the data usage, obviously aren't aware that streaming video from your security cameras/recorder directly to your phone is going to eat up huge amounts of data and bandwidth. (A single 1080p camera at 30FPS is going to eat up 7.77Mb of data per second.) Most of the issues complained about can be fixed by either increasing your data limits, or increasing your network upload/download speeds (both at your recorder and wherever you're connecting to your WiFi). If your network speeds are too slow, you probably won't be able to view all of your cameras at the same time, since you're essentially pushing way too much information down a clogged pipe. I've even tested this app with 32 8MP cameras on a CNR-3432E recorder and had no issues, other than what my own network speeds could handle. (All testing has been done with a Samsung Galaxy S7 on the Sprint network and iPhone 6 on the Verizon network. ***And as a side note, a single 8MP camera at 20FPS is going to eat up about 20.5Mb of data per second.***)
