Salah (Arabic: ٱلصَّلَاة aṣ-ṣalāh, Arabic: ٱلصَّلَوَات aṣ-ṣalawāt, meaning "prayer" or "invocation") also known as Namaz (from Persian: نماز) in non-Arab Muslim countries, is the second of the Five Pillars in the Islamic faith, and an obligatory religious duty for every Muslim.
