A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★meter works great. app not so much. i get 1 days use before i can no longer transferreadings to it. i unpair/repair several times ti get it to work for a day or two. It used to work great and even turned people on to it because of how much the graphing helped me get control of my sugars. But now...extremely disappointed. Expend some effort to make it right! first company to do this and it works! BUT NOT WITHOUT THE APP
1 ★My brand new meter is connected to my Galaxy S10 by Bluetooth. The meter is unable to transfer data to this app nor Samsung Health. The instruction booklet lead me to believe this meter could be used with most apps. This is not true since I'm 0 for 2 and one of the apps is specifically designed for this meter. What a waste of money on yet another new meter. Disgusted BG levels are not a joke to those of us with Diabetes. It is literally LIFE or DEATH!
3 ★I love the fact that it automatically syncs with my phone! I have a very on the go lifestyle, so it saves me some time. BUT, I still end up using another app to log my readings. Why? Because I am a diabetic. I see my doctor every 3 months, and he asks me about my sugar ranges for the past 3 months. Why does this only track 30 days? You would think a company who makes products for diabetics would have a better idea of what diabetics need. The app works well, but unfortunately isn't sufficient to replace my other app.
1 ★Just will not consistently sync. The last pairing to the app was Oct. 3rd. That's ridiculous. I have deleted the pairing and tried it again with the monitor and phone sitting next to each other. NOTHING! Why should I be frustrated all of the time. This is not convenient. I will look for a new wireless monitor.
2 ★since the upgrade I have problems connecting with the meter, and it won't download the data. Why does this app have to have permission to " make and receive phone calls " I fail to see a reason for that. You need to send another update because this last one has severely impacted my ability to use my meter. thank you.
1 ★This app has always been buggy connecting to my meter via Bluetooth. When updates happen, my screen shortcut icon disappears and I have to put it back; I have to consent to permissions I've already consented to; and I'm re-pairing the meter at least once a month to get it to sync. This last update has totally broken my ability to sync via Bluetooth. It's been 2 weeks with no data sync. I think it's time for me to look for a different brand of meter.
2 ★Rating dropped to 2 stars. I constantly have to click on the app up to 5 times just to get it to open. When I first downloaded the app my readings would automatically transfer from the meter (once I connected through bluetooth). Now I have to struggle just to open the app multiple times just to get my readings to transfer. I like this app so much and it would be useful if only it worked.
2 ★Looses connection, I regular have to delete the blue tooth connection and restart it. It seems lately this is a daily thing. Also, the entry for insulin is limited to 1 entry per test, at times I'm taking long acting and quick acting off of the same test results, so I find myself using another app to track that. The "other" medication is limited to pills, not doses for something like Victoza. It's time for Accu-Chek to update the app or update the meter.
1 ★If I could give less than 1 star I would. The app keeps breaking. Now it will not accept pairing AGAIN. Their solution is to replace the meter but not take care if me for the hundreds of dollars of test strips. And the app does not even work any better with the replacement meter. So I guess the only option is to dump Roche all together. Support sucks!!!!!!!
5 ★Awesome! I love this app and all the features. It's great to be able to log your food and insulin and to see a snapshot of how your levels are trending. The only request is that the feature where you take a picture of your meal be updated to where you can upload a pic later instead of having to do it right then and there.
1 ★Since the update my meter fails to connect to the app. Even called customer service - no help. The meter will not even connect via cable. have paired and repaired many time. Still the app will not download data. Customer service now says to by Mysugr app and pay a monthly fee, and give up privacy. Nope. I used accuchek app to download to VA. they dont use Mysugr, so means I have to get new meter and new app from them. Not happy. To many violations of privacy. put the older version back
1 ★I was using the app very successfully for three months, however, a few days ago it stopped transferring my blood sugar information to my phone(Galaxy Note 10 +). I did some digging and it seems that the app no longer supports Android platforms. I switched to mySugr app today and it works with no issues. It would have been prudent to inform your users that you were no longer going to support their Android platforms.
