The EpiMonitor App pairs with EmbracePlus, a medical smartwatch designed for continuous health monitoring. The App and watch work together to detect possible convulsive seizures. When detection occurs, EpiMonitor will alert the user’s selected caregivers via an automated text message (SMS) and phone call so they may get help when they need it most. EpiMonitor’s most important feature aims to provide prompt assistance when a possible convulsive seizure is detected. Alerts are sent to dedicated caregivers as phone calls and text messages (SMS) with the GPS location of the user. Alerts may be automatically sent when a possible seizure event is detected or by manually pressing a button on the EmbracePlus smartwatch when you feel you might need help.
