3 ★I bought this phone just because of its camera. But i am really dissappointed with the quality. Its 13 does not look like so. Colours are neither vivid nor clear. I switched to it from grand 2(8 mp camera) but that 8 mp is much better than this. Kindly fix this and make it worth the money spent on this phone.
1 ★Camera takes good pictures. However you really got to work hard to get them right. I scan a lot of my work paperwork and even with good lighting it's still a challenge. Maybe after a few more updates HTC could get it right.
1 ★The htc camera is not working. Whenever i click on camera it does not start, it just hangs or gives error report. If by chance it starts sometimes, then the front camera option is not seen only. If anybody from htc reads this, kindly give any response
3 ★For my uses the camera itself works fine. Never really used the dual camera so I can't really say anything about that. One big problem I have since a few months, is the jumping to my taken pictures. It works fine so far that it opens the album app but it opens it with the tab "Timeline" instead of the folder "Camera Shots" as it was in older versions. At least a option to choose which one it should open is something I would expect but couldn't find. Another missing setting is the photo resolution.
2 ★Having an HTC m8 sold to me by the virtues of the fancy duo cameras (turned out it wasn't as good as my old Samsung S3 camera anyway), after an update a load of functions I used just vanished or have been expertly hidden in menus as opposed easily found in camera options... Such as the ability to take 3d pics or live filters. First app I ever remember getting worse after an update.
1 ★In my M8 the updates destroyed the camera app. It takes too long to load and the image looks awful, specially indoors. Wonder if would be the same on the M10 (or whatever the next will be called)?
2 ★Since the latest update, the video camera cannot save videos and says cannot save videos because it contains invalid content. The videos I recorded before the update work just fine. Is there a fix for this?
1 ★I upgraded from an HTC Sensation XE to One M8, thinking the camera would still be great. I really miss my Sensation XE, the camera was awsome, even on low light, and the backlight feature was the best to take long exposure pictures. I really regret having swopped phones, the camera app for the M8 is a big No No
1 ★Hate the update, I can't even open my camera now. Every time I try to open it, it closes just as soon as I click the camera. I really need the update because my front camera doesn't worrk at all. I have an HTC M8 one. I absolutely love HTC phones but now I am SERIOUSLY considering going to a different phone all together. This makes no sense whatsoever. This needs to be fixed because every time I have tried to update my camera I have had this issue and have had to completely uninstall it all together.
1 ★My front camera lens has stopped working now and it takes forever to open the camera feature is one reason for selecting the phone as I nearly changed to Samsung as this is my 3rd HTC phone think I'll steer clear of HTC in the future as other phones seem to run better
3 ★Still prefer Dual Capture mode over the weak Split Capture. Maybe integrate Split Capture into Dual? Please bring it back! Love the M8 camera. Definitely use this camera more often and is my main shooter for everyday things. Works well and is pretty fast. Low light images are improved with UltraPixels. Crop-Me-In feature finally showed up when I upgraded to Marshmallow...Pretty cool! Once again, Dual Capture is sadly missed and needs to be brought back!! (HTC M8)
2 ★Terrible , it has a hard time understanding if I'm in a light setting or dark. Like in the day time it would bring up a tint shade last minute right before the flash ruining the picture in darkness. It's completely random. Awful..
