BePositive is a mobile app intended for use by both blood donors and recipients. The primary aim of the app is to make donating and receiving of blood easier than ever!Through the app the blood recipient,
- can find a blood donor, quickly and easily, based on their location
- will be notified if a donor has accepted the blood donation request
- will have the the option to call the donor
When the blood donor receives a request for blood, he can either choose to call the recipient or have the recipient call them. As a donor, the app allows you to choose whether or not you wish to donate blood, by turning it off or on from your profile settings. If you turn this option off, you will not receive any blood requests, until you turn it back on.
