5 ★I've used golf pad for many years in the US and Thailand. I've recommended it to all my golf buddies and anyone else who asked me what I use. It brings tears to my eyes that I can't use it like I used to do. But I'm almost 80 now and don't get out much like I used to do. I would highly recommend this app. It will definitely help your game. 5 ★Awesome software coders fixed blocked gps yardage bug on a Galaxy S8. Today is the first time I used the app since October (snow birds) and it is better than before. Definitely 5 stars. Would like to see it automatically change to the next hole when you get to the next tee but no biggie. Thanks golf pad guys.
4 ★The app is my favorite golf app. Very easy to use. The latest update does not let you see your tracking distance. You can view it later after your done but it doesn't give you the distance of the last club like it always did.
1 ★The latest update has made this app almost unusable. I have contacted them over the issues that I have had months ago and nothing has happened. I played last Wednesday and had to turn the app off as it keeps randomly changing settings and then the sound stops and I see that all the settings have changed in my round and it adds shots to holes. Very frustrating as it used to be such a good app.
4 ★works well, distances are fairly reliable. Add shot and putt buttons could be bigger for us fat fingered blind folk.
5 ★Edited review 14/2/25 After looking through the app I realised it was me that was causing the issue I was having with the app not counting my stabelford points correctly. I have now resolved the issue. It was a user error NOT an error with the app. I've put it back to 5 stars like it deserves. Also, great support and communication from the developers. Absolutely no need for a range finder with this app. Absolutely fantastic.
5 ★Easy to use interface. The more I've used it the better I like it. It's about at the point where I have to consult golf pad before I can take a shot. The heat maps of the green and now the maps on my watch, outstanding.
3 ★Used to be great for getting a quick yardage without unlocking the phone - the yardage being displayed on the lock screen notification - but following updates it's no longer possible to advance to the next hole without unlocking the phone so much of the value has gone. It's still a nice enough app but for me this was its USP and there are many similar apps out there.
