5 ★By far the best golf GPS tracking app out there. I've been using it for years, well worth the yearly premium subscription for the features you get! Actively developed and new features are added all of the time. I converted all of my friends to it and they all love it. The dev actually is very responsive via email for support or questions. Highly recommend!
5 ★I've used this app for 3 or 4 years, golfing weekly, and the app works great with many features. Most importantly the premium version works with my smart watch so I don't have to pull my phone out for every shot, which is why I got the app in the first place. The playing history is great, and shows on a satellite map exactly where each stroke went and how far you got each shot. The scorecard is detailed as well. I'm very satisfied with this app.
5 ★The GolfPad free version, phone only, helped me understand how far I'm hitting each club, and the overhead picture of each hole with the shots helped me review the rounds. Now I use premium, with tags and a Galaxy watch. It took some futzing to figure out how best to work things, but the data is excellent, and I just have to remember to tap the club to the phone. I have had some trouble remembering to tag each shot, but am getting used to that. Customer service is quite responsive.
5 ★I love the features of the App. However the last update doesn't allow me to mark my drives (Faiway Hit, Miss Left, etc) and save them. The last two rounds I've recorded them only to find out that only a few of them were saved. Pls fix this or I'm switching my Annual plan to Golf Logix! As of May 2020, the Fairways Hit tracker has been working!!! Also the added features are awesome!!
5 ★Great app, but a good feature add would be to allow users to drop a pin on the map (tee box) to see what the actual distance of a drive was when getting to the ball (distance from pin). Currently, you can only see the distance to the pin, and unless you hit it in the path of the current distance, subtracting the total distance remaining from the total distance of the hole, it will be drastically wrong.
5 ★Came to this app because SwingU stopped working. I WISH I WOULD HAVE FOUND THIS APP FIRST. Not only does it have the best interface, it works seemlessly with my WearOS device (paid version). Smooth operation and no bugs. It's better in every way, AND at least half the price for the paid version. This is an easy choice over any of its competition. Highly recommended!!!
5 ★I like this app. I do the free stuff. It gives me distance to the hole and there is a map that you can open so, say there's a hazard up there in front of you, you can tap it to see how far you'll need to hit your lay up. You can save your scores and get some basic stats, without paying. It will not compensate for elevation, of course, but that is no worry, really. I do recommend this app. it's a great value at free!
4 ★Rough start has smoothed out. I initially had some trouble using the AP synced with my smart watch. But the last couple of times out have gone smoothly. the software's distance tracking is a bit clunky without TAGS but provides very accurate data when used consistently. The club recommendations are nice to have. The range tracking was consistently accurate when compared to a range finder. This is a good product and I'm looking forward to continued use.
3 ★Just getting back into golf after a 15 year layoff and, was a single digit hdcp in those days. Ive attempted to use the app for 2 rounds. While the app is powerful, it doesn't seem to work that well on my Samsung S8. After a couple of hole it goes into a different mode that is dang near impossible to get it out of or, use the app. Additionally, at least for me, using the app takes too much of my thought process of the actual game away, affecting my shot making and scoring in a negative way.
4 ★Great app. Love knowing my distances at a glance, and using the map is awesome when playing new courses to see where hazards are and how day away they are from your ball. One change I would make it so the smartwatch app, I would add the ability to set your club choice. Having all the info on your wrist is great, especially club recommendations, but I would love the ability to add my club instead of having to take my phone out every time.
5 ★App is great! I've used it for almost a year. I'm a newer golfer and i started with the free version. Loved it so much went with the paid version so i can use it on my Samsung Galaxy watch 3. I can agree with a few complaints of the Golf Pad app on watch not always being front and center when turning wrist over, about 40% of the time. Best feature is shot tracking and score keeping entirely through watch! Others that say watch goes dead, need to adjust settings on watch.
4 ★I really like this app. I use it instead of my golf watch now. It is very accurate in distances. (I’ve compared it to my players watches and scopes). I like that you can get an overview of the course and get distances to hazards. Two things that I wish were better... One- I wish the shot distance feature were independent of the next shot. I just want the distance for this one shot. Two- I wish it would advance holes without purchasing addition equipment. I wouldn’t mind paying a higher yearly fee for that. (I did find an app that keeps my phone screen on for the whole 18 holes. It does it without draining my battery too)
