NITRD is committed to our cherished dream of eliminating TB by 2025.The proposed app is named as ' NITRD' App.
It is meant for the initial online interface of the patients suffering from TB and other respiratory diseases with the Institute.
After registration, the app asks the patient whether he or she has been referred and for what purpose. The patient will be permitted to upload his/her symptoms, investigations, and prescription of treating doctor.
After assessing the information given by the patient, guidance will be given by the Institute as to how to proceed further for getting help from the Institute.
It will help the patients avail the services of the Institute in a smooth and friendly manner. It will go a long way in supporting the TB Elimination Program of the Government of India.
NITRD APP will be highly beneficial for the TB patients living in remote areas of India in obtaining timely advice
APP has been made bilingual for wider coverage of TB patients and convenience of our patients
Through APP patient can receive advice from a highly trained team of experts at NITRD New Delhi
During COVID 19 pandemic, NITRD APP will be helpful as the need for physical contact is being bypassed
