This is a widget to place Sony's PSN 'Portable Id Card', a PSNPROFILES.COM card, or a PSN Trophy Leaders card onto your Android home screen.** NOTICE - The 'PSN Trophy Leaders' website seems to be having problems lately so that type of gamer card might not appear/update if selected in this widget **
** IMPORTANT - It seems that Sony has broken their cards for US gamers and I wouldn't be surprised if the European ones stopped working soon too. If you are having trouble with the 'PSN Portable Id' card type, please consider using one of the other two cards supported by the app instead. **
Instructions:-
Ensure that you have created the relevant card via the provider's website (see below).
Browse the Widgets on your device and choose the nearest size of PSN Portable Id widget that suits your needs.
Long-press on it and add it where you like.
Enter the PSN ID, making sure to get any upper-case and lower-case letters correct.
Assuming your device has a working internet connection and that your card exists, your gamer card should appear on your home-screen.
The widget attempts to fetch an updated graphic for the card once per day.
Tapping the widget will allow you to update it manually, and also to change the type of card it fetches.
Users of Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) or later will benefit from the ability to resize this widget.
IMPORTANT
You MUST create your gamer card on the appropriate website BEFORE using this widget. It WON'T work otherwise.
