Description

Marsi Road displays a listing of open detox/recovery beds for those dependent on opioids, alcohol, and other drugs that produce physical dependence such as benzodiazepines (xanax, valium, klonopin, ativan, etc.). Also listed are doctors within the state that are licensed to prescribe Buprenorphine, as well as various recovery meetings across the state (SMART Recovery, NA, and AA). All listings are filterable.

The open beds listing is updated every 15 minutes on the MARSI servers and therefore within the app, the listing should be at most 15 minutes old. Only facilities that are listed on the Massachusetts Behavioral Health Access web site are listed. Also, not all providers update their bed counts on a regular basis, so you should always call first before heading into a facility.

The other listings are updated once a week on the MARSI servers as they do not likely change very often. The app only updates its lists after an appropriate expiration based on the server updates so as to save on our server load and on your monthly mobile data usage.

This app is supported entirely by the author and donors, and because it is backed by servers running in the "cloud" it does cost money each month to keep it running/alive. If you find this kind of app valuable to Massachusetts residents, please make a one time donation at:

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.
