Las JNCM son un evento tradicional en el ámbito científico nacional.Descripción: El Instituto de Desarrollo Costero Dr. Héctor Zaixso y el Centro de Investigación y Transferencia Golfo San Jorge tienen a su cargo la organización de las XI Jornadas Nacionales de Ciencias del Mar (JNCM) y el XIX Coloquio de Oceanografía. Esta iniciativa promueve la interdisciplinariedad e integración entre los investigadores argentinos de distintas instituciones facilitando el uso compartido de los recursos materiales y promoviendo la formación de recursos humanos.
En esta ocasión, las jornadas tienen por tema principal “Servicios ecosistémicos: percepción, valoración y gestión para el bienestar humano y el desarrollo sostenible”. En virtud de ello, se desarrollan conferencias y seminarios específicos, relacionados con los servicios ecosistémicos que ofrecen los ambientes marinos y costeros; turismo y conservación; pesquerías; acuicultura; exploración y explotación off-shore y planificación marina espacial.
Las XI JNCM se realizan en Comodoro Rivadavia entre el 28 de marzo y el 1 de abril de 2022 y se inscriben un contexto de políticas públicas que promueven el desarrollo de las ciencias marinas en nuestro país
