FacoElche es una reunión científica dedicada a la cirugía facorrefractiva que se celebra todos los años en la ciudad de Elche (España). Desde su primera edición, en 1999, sus fechas son siempre las del primer fin de semana de febrero y tiene como sede desde sus inicios el Hotel Huerto del Cura de Elche.
FacoElche se consagra a la cirugía del segmento anterior del ojo en general, pero tiene una dedicación especial a los procedimientos quirúrgicos sobre el cristalino, tanto como cirugía de cataratas como a intervenciones de cirugía refractiva intraocular.
Acuden más de 800 oftalmólogos y profesionales de la visión de toda España y del extranjero y se desarrolla en un programa tanto de comunicaciones y conferencias, como de cursos satélites y de acreditación, así como una sesión de cirugía en directo.
FacoElche es una reunión muy dinámica con un marcado carácter práctico y didáctico, lo que la ha consolidado como la tercera reunión oftalmológica más importante de las realizadas de forma regular en España, tras la de las dos sociedades oficiales principales.
