How to install Perkeep APK on Android phone or tablet?

Download Perkeep APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:

Update Phone Settings

Go to your phone Settings page
Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
Check the Unknown Sources box
Confirm with OK

Go to Downloads

Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
Tap the APK file you downloaded (org.camlistore-v0.11-ApkClean.apk)

2 ★Burns battery. Haven't configured it yet but it has a persistent notification and Android reports that it has been running continuously for three hours. I dont know whether that's accurate but maybe the notification could be less frequent if it's not configured.
