Erwin Mah memiliki passion (kerinduan) menjelaskan firman Tuhan agar mudah dimengerti tanpa mengurangi esensi, bobot, dan keakuratan interpretasi dengan pertimbangan dari perspektif bahasa, sejarah, tradisi, budaya, dan yang tentunya dilandaskan pada iman kepada Yesus Kristus Juruselamat satu-satunya (Pengakuan Iman Kalsedon), Allah Tritunggal (Pengakuan Iman Nicea-Konstantinopel 381AD), dan junjungan Alkitab (Perjanjian Lama dan Perjanjian Baru) sebagai otoritas tertinggi umat percaya.
