Description
The Brigham and Women’s Hospital Asthma Application (BWH Asthma App) enables individuals to keep track of their asthma symptoms between regular clinic visits via short weekly multiple choice questionnaires. Answers are available to the patient’s care team. This app is part of a research study and is not meant to replace professional medical/clinical care. All participants must receive continuing care from a physician at BWH to be a part of this research study. Registration to the platform requires a verified email address and agreement to the BWH Asthma App Terms of Services.Physicians are not required to use any information from this study in evaluating and managing Asthma. If participants want to speak to their physicians, they should call them directly and/or set up a clinic visit. Subjects with emergencies should call 911.
This app was developed as part of a partnership between the RAND Corporation and Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
