Gatepass is a mobile based system to manage visitors in and out of your facility. This is paperless visitor management solution. This Gatepass app does not need printer, desktop computer or any other infrastructure. This works seamlessly on Android smartphones.This application is extremely useful for cooperative housing societies, Office buildings, business centers, schools and colleges. Wherever people and going and coming out , this system will be useful to manage the traffic.
This system stores all visitor data on the server and is available to authorized users anytime. Authorized user can generate reports on who were visitors, vehicle details, their host details and meeting times. This is useful to trace back if we want to find out about a particular visitor. The reports are available on fingertips and can also be emailed as an excel attachment.
Whenever there is a visitor at the gate, it sends sms to the host. That way, host knows which is visitor has arrived at the gate. In case of housing societies, if only kids are at home, parents will get the sms so they know if someone is trying o reach to their home. They can alert kids or building security in case there is suspicious activity.
This app has several fields for visitor identification. Name, mobile, email, address, ID proof picture, visitor picture , it can be captured during the first visit. Next time, if same visitor comes again, security guard can simply enter name of person & all other details are fetched from the server.
Most of these fields are optional and each facility can decide which ones to use.
If building has multiple gates, visitor entry & exit can be managed seamlessly from any gate. If visitor enters from one gate, and exits from another one, security guard can find the visitor based on name and id him /her looking at the picture. Then a simple tap on his name will exit the visitor from the building. System will automatically capture his exit time & store on the server.
At any point of time, you can find out how many visitors are inside the building. What are their names, who are they meeting with, since how long they are inside the building. So if after 7 PM, no one is supposed to be inside the premises, you can find it out with a simple tap on the smartphone and reach out to the host. If visitor is still with the host then its a verification that he is legitimately staying inside the premises. But otherwise, this could help to identify unlawful visitors staying after the meetings. This could be a very useful security feature.
Also, in case there is fire or any other natural calamity, you can still find out without much trouble who is inside they building and where they could be.
If you want to manage a school or a housing society with this, it can also handle all daily visitors who need to be in and out of building. For ex- In case of housing societies, maids working with different hosts, vehicle drivers, gardeners, housekeeping staff, newspaper vendors or milkmen who needs to enter and exit from the building on daily basis. No one keeps watch on movement of these people and even if someone wants to monitor their movements, it becomes practically impossible since they could come in and out multiple times.
