Prevemergencias-UNAL es una aplicación móvil (app) diseñada por un equipo interdisciplinario conformado por profesores de la Facultad de Enfermería de la Universidad Nacional (UNAL) de Colombia de los grupos de investigación Cuidado para la salud cardiorrespiratoria y Urgencias y Cuidado crítico, estudiantes de pregrado, ingenieros, diseñadores y profesionales en el área de gestión del riesgo y desastres.Está dirigida a la comunidad para prevenir y actuar frente a situaciones de emergencia de origen socio natural y tecnológico (incendios de cobertura vegetal, movimientos de remoción en masa, materiales peligrosos). Facilita la consolidación de redes comunitarias dispuestas a trabajar en la gestión del riesgo.
En ella se encontrarán información relacionada con el conocimiento, la prevención, y el actuar en diversas situaciones de riesgo como incendios, remoción en masa, materiales peligrosos, a su vez información relacionada con los tipos de extintores, su funcionamiento, así mismo como elaborar un plan familiar de emergencias y la prevención en el hogar para evitar posibles accidentes y emergencias en el hogar, con los números de emergencia.
