El Instituto Andaluz de Prevención de Riesgos Laborales tiene como fines generales fomentar la cultura preventiva en Andalucía, el análisis y estudio de las condiciones de seguridad y salud laborales, así como la promoción y apoyo de la mejora de estas, con especial atención a las pequeñas y medianas empresas, a la población trabajadora autónoma y a los sectores de mayor riesgo.Mas concretamente, el segundo eje estratégico de actuación del Instituto referido a la transferencia del conocimiento al tejido empresarial andaluz señala como estratégica la difusión de forma eficiente del conocimiento técnico y científico al ámbito empresarial andaluz para que éste pueda beneficiarse de él, aplicarlo de forma práctica y convertirlo en fuente de riqueza, de bienestar y de desarrollo social.
Asimismo, dentro de los objetivos de la Estrategia Andaluza de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo 2017-2022, prorrogada a 2023, está el de mejorar la gestión preventiva en las empresas andaluzas y consolidar la cultura preventiva en la sociedad andaluza como parte de sus ejes de transferencia y sensibilización.
Todo lo anterior se concreta en la celebración del IV Encuentro Cultura Preventiva.
El objetivo de esta cuarta edición consiste en facilitar un espacio de encuentro donde los distintos agentes sociales y económicos, el mundo empresarial, la población trabajadora y los responsables de las políticas de seguridad y salud laboral puedan intercambiar experiencias y conocer herramientas útiles que les ayuden el desempeño de su labor
