A01e は、内蔵カメラとRICOH/PENTAX製カメラ、Panasonic製カメラ、Sony製カメラ、Olympus製カメラ、Kodak PIXPROカメラでWifiに対応しているカメラを最大８つ同時に接続して撮影ができるアプリです。（内蔵カメラとWifi対応カメラの画像を同時に表示し、同時に撮影することができます。）設定を変える操作パネルを表示することもできます。
また、あらかじめ保存した画像を「作例」として表示し、同じアングルでの撮影をサポートする機能を持っています。
画像を少し溜めて、若干遅らせて表示させることもできます。
撮影には、リモートシャッター（有線・無線）も使用可能です。
