3 ★It tracks my car travel fine. Easy to tag specific trips as business related for reporting purposes at tax time. However, I've seen no new features or additional benefit in over 2 years which is a little disappointing. Company doesn't make it easy to provide feedback and aside from creating a roadside assist service (why? There are so many already, I see nothing different in Gofar's) zero roadmap on additional features or benefits.
3 ★This app is pretty alright. It has a few problems from not being able to delete or remove cars or locations too deciding when it wants to work or not. I have to redo my set up for my Getz once every few weeks. I'm trying to log all my business driving as I drive about 100kms each day from work site to work site. And it seems to not want to work but then it does. Would really appreciate if you far could fine tune the app so it would be more reliable.
5 ★Best product I have ever used it tells you everything that is going on in your car...turms out my engine light was telling me coolant was low...put it in and the engine light warning disappeared!! Also with the App you can check on fuel consumption after driving..I am highly recommending this product to my friends...couldn't get by without it! Thank you GOFAR!!
3 ★I got the device to help me log my travels for work purposes as I have external meetings and staleholders I visit. The app is just dodgy - my colleagues who use it as well (a couple of us purchased a 3 dongle deal) have no issue as they use iPhones to connect to theur dongles. the frustrating thing about the Android app is that it doesn't respond in timely fashion, sometimes pushed through the set up page, can't kill the app when I close it and the notification badge malfunctions.
3 ★The app is ok even though I've had instances where it did not record driving or GoFar will not connect to the phone until you open the app which is a bit annoying because you want to set and forget and not open the app all the time. It would be good to see PDF reports being added or like a weekly or monthly report that can be generated
2 ★Nit sure what happened but after this update to the app, for some reason my GOFAR hasn't been working right in my vehicle. I reset the module to try to calibrate again and even that isnt working (made sure complete stops are used as much as possibe). No green on the bar at all yet. I'll keep retrying but might be worth looking into the app itself and seeing if there's anything funky going on! Always seems to revert to metric units too, not sure whats going on there either...

5 ★Useful for maintenance, efficiency and keeping business records. See data on every trip and see your fuel consumption, braking and acceleration efficiency scores! Works with the GOFAR OBD reader and the efficiency ray that gives visual feedback on the efficiency of your driving style. Good for those who want to save on fuel, identify vehicle faults and never miss service intervals. Also records business vs private trips for tax etc, and you can download the data. Service is also excellent.
2 ★Worked pretty well up until October. Occasionally it would not run in the background and I'd have to start the app when I noticed. Gave up after having to do everyday.. No dark mode. Keeps asking for ray when I don't have one. Updates don't appear to have much benefit.
1 ★App suddenly lost all trip data and business tags, not sure when it happened. Business tracking also changed from business use % to cents per kilometre by itself. Device and app has not worked smoothly since I bought it and now this. Save your money and just keep a paper logbook...
4 ★Works well and provides useful records and data. I do experience frequent disconnection between the app and the dongle that requires restart. Didn't use to do this, so it seems to have crept in with upgrades.
4 ★Works well for recording trips for business, however the mpg is not accurate and it doesn't always connect so I have to turn my Bluetooth off and back on again and sometimes open the gofar app on my for to get it working. Not good if you don't notice andd you have already started your journey
