Mit der App DRW-Nukmed werden die diagnostischen Referenzwerte (DRW) abgebildet, welche im Merkblatt L-08-01 des BAG 2014 herausgegeben wurden. Die DRW basieren auf einer Erhebung, welche 2010 in der Schweiz durchgeführt wurden. In der nuklearmedizinischen Diagnostik ist die verwendete Grösse der DRW die applizierte Aktivität für eine Standard-Untersuchung, welche eine ausreichende Qualität zur Erlangung der diagnostischen Informationen sicherstellen soll. Die Rubrik DRW/Dosis der App berechnet die zu applizierende Aktivität für eine spezifische Untersuchung für einen 70kg schweren Patienten und gibt die effektive Dosis E50 an. Die App DRW-Nukmed berechnet die gewichtsspezifische Applikations- und Mindestaktivität für Untersuchungen von Kindern gemäss die Dosage Card der EANM.
