1 ـ توسيع فرص وقاعدة الممارسة الجماعية للرياضة وإطلاق طاقات وقدرات وإبداعات الشباب في النواحي الرياضية ورعايتهم، طبقا لأرقى المعايير الدولية في المجالات الرياضية.
2 ـ تشجيع الرياضة بتقديم الدعم الفني والمالي للارتقاء بها واكتشاف وتنمية مهارات الشباب الرياضية.
3 ـ خلق بيئة رياضية صحية تمنع التمييز والتعصب بجميع أنواعه، وتنمية روح المنافسة الشريفة بما يعود بالنفع على المجتمع.
4 ـ رعاية الحركة الرياضية في البلاد والعمل على دعمها وتطويرها.
5 ـ مكافحة المنشطات المحظورة في المجالات الرياضية.
6 ـ تنمية اللياقة البدنية ونشر العادات الصحية السليمة والقيم والمبادئ الرياضية.
7 ـ إبراز الوجه الحضاري للبلاد والتعريف به محليا ودوليا في المجال الرياضي.
