Safinatun Najah (bahasa Arab: سفي نة النجاة) adalah sebuah kitab ringkas mengenai dasar-dasar Ilmu Fikih menurut Mazhab Syafi'i.Penulis Kitab Safinah adalah seorang ulama besar yang sangat terkemuka yaitu Syekh Salim bin Abdullah bin Saad bin Sumair Al hadhrami.
Beliau adalah seorang Ahli Fiqh dan Tasawwuf yang bermadzhab Syafi'i. Selain itu, beliau adalah seorang pendidik yang dikenal sangat ikhlas dan penyabar, seorang qodhi yang adil dan zuhud kepada dunia, bahkan beliau juga seorang politikus dan pengamat militer negara¬-negara Islam.
Kitab Safinatun Najah ini ditujukan bagi pelajar dan pemula sehingga hanya berisi kesimpulan hukum fikih saja tanpa menyertakan dalil dan dasar pengambilan dalil dalam penetapan hukum.
Meski begitu masih terdapat beberapa permasalahan fikih yang tergolong ikhtilaf di kalangan Ulama Ahli Fiqih antar Mazhab. Bahkan di kalangan Ulama Mazhab Syafi'i sendiri, sehingga diperlukan kesungguhan atau panduan dalam memilih pendapat yang lebih tepat (rajih) sesuai dengan Al-Qur'an dan Sunnah.
