2 ★Remarkably boring. It turns the simplest Skinner Box crank well in the early game, then it turns into an exhausting grind in its middle game. I can imagine it being dynamic, eventually. But I can't spend any more time looking for the game underneath the repetition. If you like playing the same handful of chess endgames over and over again, so that you can play them again with slightly different pieces, then This Game Is For YOU! I wanted to enjoy it, but it feels like a job I'm paying to work at. Very high quality production (very!). Sadly empty gameplay.
4 ★At first look its gorgeous, the play involves strategy and for the first hour or so, you think its a great game. Then the oh-so-common wait game starts. You get to a point where you need to wait an hour in order to continue. Also, you start to find treasure that is awesome, but oh-so-sorry, your level is not high enough and it will be a few days/weeks until it is. Also after a bit, it becomes less exploration, more formulaic. Gold is required for leveling, but you only get gold for npc battles, so while you some cool upgrades in PvP, you can't implement those upgrades until you have gold to do so... which happily this company will sell you for gems, which can be bought with cold hard cash.
1 ★Insanely and artificially inflated timers prohibit you from from playing the game much. The game is about 90% waiting for timers to go away. I bought a subscription package, but it doesn't do much to let me play more. The developer had the audacity to criticize me for "not liking free to play games" which is just a slap in the face. Unless you're a "whale" dumping hundreds of dollars know this game, it's not worth it.
3 ★I was enjoying it at first but the non stop notifications began to wear on me. The more notifications the less I played and finally today I asked myself, why bother. It has a ton of potential, but it is essentially another grinder. Wash, rinse, repeat, again and again same thing over and over and over. Guilds seem to be useless and the amount of reward for victory is pathetic next to avg cost of items.
4 ★Unique mobile game. I was hoping for something more like Heroes of Might and Magic 3, as the combat system in this game would be great in that style of gameplay. I hate time gates and most of the game is repetitive. Similar maps, challenges, progression, etc. I recommend checking it out for novelty's sake, but I won't continue playing.
5 ★excellent strategy game and it's only growing. I don't know if the devs read these reviews, but if they do, I would love for them to add more colors to a damaged units health. if they're at full health it's white, if damaged red. I would love to see a different color for above 50% and red below 50%. especially since below 50% is when the unit needs to wait longer to heal. thanks for an overall wonderful game.
5 ★YES! Finally a game that plays as good as it looks on the TV commercial. Highly recommend it. Love the way each battle is like a little chess match. Please do not tempt me to get lazy by adding auto battle. Let the kids use their brains a little while having fun. I just hope the wait times don't get out of hand like they did in War and Magic (among others). I understand that it's a necessary evil in games like this but I would like to run around with full troops all day while things unlock. Keep it up guys!
1 ★The game play is very fun, but eventually you hit a wall where the enemies are too strong, and you are constantly waiting for troops to respawn, and the only way to actually get items or play battles is to pay for in game currency. Nothing wrong with in game purchases, but my problem is when the only way to play is with micro transactions
1 ★This is the second time of made a purchase in this game. Both times I was charged by google play. But did not receive what I purchased? Both times I made the purchase because it was time sensitive. This time the purchase was $19.99. I had 40 minutes left to purchase the battle, ready set number 2. I had to given the game of 5 star rating. But now I would give it zero. I hate to be ripped off!! Its hard enough to make the decision to drop 20 bucks more on a game! I really want the battle ready 2 set. The instructions say to write support through the game, but is impossible to do so. If I dont get the set,preferably, or a full refund,I will do everything I can to slander this game.
1 ★Great strategy game from the people who brought you forge of empires. Can not make any progress at all. Takes forever to load and more then half the time it does not load up at all. Always being disconnected from server. I play on a dedicated internet pc not mobile or wifi and still get disconnected or it won't load up at all. Very disappointing. If they fix the server issues and I can actually play it then the review would be very different. As it stands now you might get one day play.
1 ★An addictive game that isn't that time consuming. I drive OTR and this game allows me to take up short waits. Sadly, I had to delete the game. The cost of playing became too much for me, in game and in real life. I fully understand that the developers must get paid for their work, but, when I pay MUCH less to play WoW 10 to 15 hours a month..... I can no longer justify the expense. Thanks for the opportunity to play your game. I will miss it.
2 ★So, this game is alright. It kinda reminds me of Fire Emblem. One thing that bothers me so much is, this game is constantly reaching for the server. Either you guys got some pretty crappy hosts or you guys keep taking it down for maintenance. All I know is, I've lost a bunch of rewards because of it or have had to start all over again. My internet connection is fine and I know that because I'm still receiving notifications from all my other games and apps while the game is trying to reconnect. Also, there's no grind/farming method except for just the bosses and some pirates. You'd think that would be all you need but adding a huge timeframe (12-24hrs) in between their re-spawn, makes the leveling process dreadfully slow, especially in the beginning of the game. Nice try.
