Zawajir, pendapat asy Syarbini dalam tafsirnya.
Dalam kitab ini, hubungan suami istri adalah hubungan antara si kuat
dan si lemah. Suami adalah pihak yang kuat yang memiliki banyak kelebihan
baik fisik, psikologis, intelektual maupun keagamaan,5 sementara itu istri
adalah pihak yang lemah, kurang akal dan agama,6 bahkan Nawawi
mengatakan “seyogyanya istri mengetahui kalau dirinya seperti tawanan atau
amah (budak perempuan) yang lemah dan tak berdaya dalam kekuasaan
suami”, tentu saja istri wajib taat terhadap suami ketika diperintahkan apa
saja selain maksiat, tidak boleh menolak permintaan suami sekalipun di
punggung onta, tidak boleh keluar rumah dan puasa kecuali atas ijin
suaminya
