5 ★Adjustable settings, very clear directions and tutorial, user-friendly interface. Has mostly static graphics, and factions are used to fight invasion. It feels pretty classless as it is easy to acquire spells/skills, though items/armor are random and has basic crafting. I am still playing the game so I can't say much for the story, but there is an interesting introduction and occasionally encounters that is story-driven with the setting, telling more what happened in the world.
5 ★Intriguing lore and intuitive gameplay make this game stand out. The tutorials are short, to-the-point, and effective, yet the streamlining doesn't impede customization, as the skills and spells you select affect your gameplay experience. The difficulty design is great, letting you set such aspects as fewer random encounters or slightly higher gold rewards. The setting evokes classic RPG nostalgia with enough tweaks to keep things interesting. Very nicely designed and written.
4 ★Overall a well made game. Retreating from a fight can feel a bit pointless at times and is therefore frustrating. This is because it works like pokemon games where there's a chance to fail the retreat, when that happens you end up having wasted a turn which can mean the difference between victory and defeat more often than it should. But other than that its a great game!
4 ★Honestly great game but a few scuffs around the edges, So there is a slight issue which I don't know if it's a bug or intetional, but there a certain upgrades in the city consul building which lower the price of expenses in the game supplies, blacksmith price, shop prices, ect. But it doesn't tell me how much they cost to get them and its not made clear if you have to unlock them or not if I could get some feedback on this I would greatly appreciate it.
5 ★Personally, I adore this game. Its an amazing time waster and has a lot to be improved upon, but it has EXTREME potential that I think could make it one of the better gamed of its caliber. For instance, changing the block structure into spmething different to give it variety in the dungeon stages. Vary the different weapons and allow for more customization. ITS AN AWESOME GAME, but if they were to improve upon very minor details it will make the game look and play far better down the road.
5 ★I LOVED this game. The problem is that it updated and now my phone RESTARTS every time I try to open a save file. I will increase my rating if this gets fixed. EDIT: I tried starting a new game on the third save file, and it was fine until I hit continue on the opening blurb. Then it restarted like the other save files. EDIT THE THIRD: still restarting unfortunately. EDIT AGAIN: IT WORKS THANKS!
4 ★It isn't too bad, honestly. It is a bit grindy, but that's true of most games in this genre. My two complaints would be that the character had more things to buy in the store, potions and the like. Second, that either you received more experience per dungeon level, or that you were not so far ahead so quickly that you felt like you were being rushed. I'm to the point of being at area 8 or 9 and only character level 3. Being able to repeat areas would be great.
5 ★Overall, a fun game. It's hard until you figure out a good build, but after that the game becomes easy even on the highest difficulty and permadeath. There are a couple of bugs, but they aren't game breaking. Changing this rating to a 5 because you replied to my email and I feel confident that you will continue improving the game. People, if you don't like ads, pay to turn them off or skip wage collection. Later game runs award hundreds of gold, but support the creator anyway!
5 ★I'll be honest, I really enjoy this. The simple UI with the beautiful backgrounds, the lore of the world, and the paintings with the little tidbits of info on how they were painted and the one being painted. It's just so awesome. I'm currently playing a character with the psychopath background and the fire salamander pet and using fire spells and rogue skills. Also the events that sometimes happen when you get back are cool, never actually seen something like that in a game.
5 ★This game is great, I love it! Thank you for taking the time to make something like this without monetizing it to a degree that would make the game unenjoyable. I just have one small suggestion: maybe when you fight the enemy armies that beseige the city, their ability to kill your mercenaries could decrease as their manpower decreases. I think it would make sense for a fighting force to become less effective as they lose more men.
5 ★Great dungeon crawl, non intrusive adds. 100+ levels multiple class choices or mix and go. No energy system or limited play time. 3 save files for separate characters. Also I've read through the majority of 1 star reviews and they were all of people who don't even like this genre or complained about bugs but after the bugs were fixed didn't adjust their rating.
5 ★Fantastic game. Have spent hours over the last week playing -- it's not overly complicated and only takes a few minutes to get the hang of it. Well fleshed out world and there is plenty to do. By far my favorite old school RPG on the app store. I only wish there was more information online -- like a wiki -- as there are so many items and builds, spells, skills, items, etc. Would love some indepth reading on character builds, enemies, and the like.
