As the Merchant, you are the commander of your own domain!
Blending together traditional RPG systems, management mechanics, and a fantasy overworld, Merchant aims to reimagine the traditional mobile RPG. In Merchant, players take the role of a shopkeeper who must manage a team of Heroes and Crafters. Heroes are sent out on quests in order to fight enemies and gather materials. Crafters then use those materials to create weapons and armor. As the shopkeeper, players must balance their micro-economies between selling items for gold and crafting items to better ensure success for the Heroes.

5 ★Fun, easy to grasp, and plays in the background. It's perfect until you run out of Gold. Then back to the beginning to farm potions for a while
5 ★This is, by a large margin, the best rpg experience I've had on the Play store. The pixel art is really fun to look at, and the music is on point. The monetization model is actually commendably unoffensive and out of the way, especially early game. Now, I will say that the first area is a bit generic and some of the UI elements up top are hard to make out as buttons. But I've had a good bit of fun with merchant, it's a good way to kill time. 5 stars from a CRPG player.
5 ★I'm changing my review from 3 to 5 stars. This is a longterm grind game that is about leveling up by small increments. I initially found that too frustrating so I ditched it. Many months later, I've redownloaded it, restored my past purchases, and am loving the chill experience. So it depends what you want. This is a slow grind game. Know that going in, and you just might love it.
5 ★I love this game! Ive been looking for one like this for a long time! I have never spent money on a mobile game before, but i bought 2 of the expansions here, and plan on buying the 3rd one! I highly recommend it!
5 ★It's a very relaxing game. Luv the music and simple game mechanic. Lots of crafting options and not to difficult.
5 ★Wonderful game. It has just the right balance of real time and idle elements. You never really have down time for more than 2 minutes unless you opt for it such as sending your whole party on one long quest. The progression is great, and it encorages me to plan as opposed to just clicking buttons to make big numbers like other idle games. This is easily in my top 25 games of all time!
5 ★Good game. One of the best games I've played on Mobile. I'd definitely be interested in playing a souped up version on PC. Basically an RPG with heavy emphasis on crafting and store building elements. It probably already exists... Anyway, this game is addicting and satisfying. When I thought I was close to maxing out after a couple days, I found that there was much more late game content to explore. Unlike some games where you kick off a quest and then have nothing to do for a week, there's always something to do here whether thats leveling up weaker characters or grinding materials to make a sweet new sword (and then immediately sell if for a ton of gold). Meanwhile, your more powerful characters are making progress on the late game, more difficult quests. Honestly, it's sort of a double edged sword where I have trouble putting it down because there's there are more things I can do. I haven't purchased the expansion yet, but I'm sure I will if for no other reason than to show support for the creator.
5 ★This game is perfect. All ads are opt-in, so you don't have to stop play every two minutes to skip an ad, theres optional DLC that adds onto the game rather than breaks it or makes it too easy, and, best of all, no buying currency with real world money! It's clear the dev(s?) went in with the idea of making a game first and money second.
5 ★Absolutely love this game. Finally a game on Google Play worth downloading. The old style graphics are perfect. The gameplay is really enjoyable, it is absolutely worth downloading. There isn't any adds you have to watch either, and it's definitely not pay to win. A great time killer and just a really fun game.
4 ★Absolutely phenomenal. This game is above standard. Until you get the sniper 3d AD. Then you must manually close to restart :/
5 ★What an absolute gem of a game. If you like oldschool gameplay, loot surprises, strategic character development and just a lot of fun, this is for you. A few dollars to unlock everything which is well worth the price. Beautifully balanced with wonderful creation pathways and enough challenge to keep you interested. So glad I discovered this classic. Best game I have played on mobile, period.
5 ★Excellent easy going game play. Doesn't bombard you with ads every 5 seconds or try to milk every cent out of you. You really don't need to spend any money but can to unlock stuff earlier or unlock a small portion of add on stuff. Only ads are if you choose you can watch to resurrect your character or choose to pay regular coins. They even have specials sometimes to unlock all content very cheap. Just a great chill turn based game!
