The Panasonic LUMIX Sync application software allows you to operate a Panasonic digital camera supporting Wi-Fi with your smartphone. With it, you can copy images into your smartphone, take pictures from your smartphone by remote control, and do more.
The following major functions are available with this application.
・LUMIX Sync allows you to copy pictures and videos from the digital camera to your smartphone.
・LUMIX Sync allows you to take pictures by remote control, checking the digital camera live view on your smartphone.
・LUMIX Sync allows you to easily register a camera (camera pairing) through guidance.
・LUMIX Sync allows you to easily make a Wi-Fi connection through Bluetooth.
・The photographic location (location information) is automatically recorded to pictures, which is handy for sorting pictures later on.
・LUMIX Sync, which supports 802.11ac Wi-Fi, allows you to copy images at a higher speed through a Wi-Fi router. (*1)

2 ★Doesn't work flawlessly, it asks you to disconnect and to reconnect. Bluetooth and wifi can't be used at the same time which makes it confusing. No nfc for tap to connect fastly. Only good thing is that it can send raw files. Also selecting and sending from the camera doesn't really seem to work, you need to select from the camera.
1 ★With the new S1 very hard to get it to connect with the camera... Android user, v frustrating maybe 1 out of 5 times will connect and transfer. Update with the latest Nov 19 app and Nov 19 firmware 1.3 with S1, transferring pictures and phone with the latest updates unable to transfer files everytime the cam and phone r connected, same as previous versions. Sometimes have to reconnect several times. Running Android.
1 ★It's rubbish, can't connect any of my lumix cameras with any of my phones or tablet's, it may establish a connection and immediately fail. Obviously not at all fit for purpose, I'm now back to the tried, tested fast way of transferring images via the card. It's 100% reliable and requires no clunky unreliable half written app. For remote shooting I'll stick with quality " Fuji"
4 ★Why are these two of these apps from Panasonic? Both do the same thing but have a slightly different layout, they're still being updated (sparingly). Very weird. I've only tried this app so far and it has worked, but I've used it in a very limited fashion. Using this app alongside the Lumix TZ70.
2 ★Very difficult to get connected with the S1. I experienced a lot of latency in actual use. Needs some work to become more stable. Not yet up to the level of the Imaging Edge app for the G series.
1 ★Tried both my Samsung Galaxy and then iPad and both did the same thing. Did download process and set wifi. So phone said it was connected and camera said connected BUT the app said "not connected"so you couldn't do anything. no buttons were active. THEN, switched and did the whole process with iPad and same thing!
4 ★I used this App for my G9, works very good for basic Stills, and Video. Easiest connection of any camera I have had. Works great for Remote Shutter. I'm using a S10 5G phone. Needs more camera control. But very usable as is.
3 ★Signals not reliable. 50/50 chance of stable connectivity
2 ★S5 only connects one way, initiate WiFi "remote shooting & view" from camera first. Written by someone who doesn't understand how to implement a proper wifi, Bluetooth, or direct WiFi connection. When it does connect to bluetooth or wifi after you fiddle around, it tries to reconnect to the other connection, so if you successfully connect to bluetooth then the camera tries to connect to WiFi, and if you successfully connect to WiFi then it tries WiFi direct connect. Horrible app
2 ★Not bad but not being able to use bulb mode for long exposures is a huge fail for me so what's why I've scored so low They need the ability to do long exposures like 5s+ sometimes I want to do exposures that are minutes long, I should be able to do that with this app
4 ★Using It with G9, not sure if it is entirely compatible, but does seem to work well. Tries to connect to home wife before camera, not sure if I have got something wrong. Other than that really useful
1 ★Biggest pain in the arse ever. Fails to connect half the time and takes me hours of messing about just to transfer 1 small images. And don't even think about using it when on a shoot you'll be sacked!!!!
