El Garden Hotels Mallorca Volley Club es un club de voleibol femenino comprometido con la reivindicación de la igualdad para las mujeres en el deporte, ya que suele ser un terreno muy poco defendido para la participación femenina y los sponsors escasean. Con este proyecto queremos proporcionar una nueva alternativa a las jugadoras que facilite la continuidad de su carrera como profesionales. El objetivo del club es iniciar el año compitiendo en la categoría Insular Mallorca Segunda Balear Femenina para finalizar la temporada en la Primera Balear.A los mandos de la dirección técnica estará la ex jugadora profesional Maurizia Cacciatori y como presidente el club contará con en reconocido Dou Dou Adouate, exjugador de fútbol de clubs como RCD Mallorca y el Deportivo de la Coruña. Como presidente ejecutivo, se suma al elenco Damon Mark Menday, ex director de operaciones del RCD Mallorca y actual agente deportivo en Sport Players International. El cargo de entrenador recae en Enrique Álvarez Ruiz, exjugador de la selección española junior.
De esta manera, respaldamos una iniciativa muy ambiciosa que tiene por objetivo impulsar el deporte femenino en las islas para ofrecer posibilidades a las jugadoras de voleibol así como para continuar promoviendo el deporte balear como ya hemos hecho en otras áreas como ciclismo, atletismo y triatlón.
