Description

Tiramisu provides customized real-time arrival information. It makes using transit easier for everyone, including commuters with visual or mobility impairments.

The app shows information about transit vehicles arrive at stops near your current location. You can customize what you see two different ways:
1. Use the route filters at the top to see only the routes you might take
2. Mark a stop as a favorite (tap the star) to show all vehicles related to this stop at the top of the list

Tiramisu has several new features to make it easier to use:

- Search: When you want to know arrival times some place different than where you are, you can use the search box at the top of the screen.

- Map: Use the map button in the upper right corner to show a map of nearby transit stops.

- Get off alert: Tiramisu will send you an alert right before you need to get off a transit vehicle. Tap on the route name to see a list of upcoming stops, and select the stop where you plan to disembark.

- Schedule information: Tiramisu will show you the schedule for any route at a specific stop. Tap on the route name and then select the Schedule tab.

Tiramisu is TalkBack compatible.

The application currently supports the Port Authority of Allegheny County (the transit agency for Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) and New York MTA buses. We will be adding more agencies – stay tuned!

How to install Tiramisu APK on Android phone or tablet?

Download Tiramisu APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:

Update Phone Settings

Go to your phone Settings page
Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
Check the Unknown Sources box
Confirm with OK

Go to Downloads

Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

4 ★I've had this app for about 5 months now, and I can say I've used it every single day only until recently. I tried 2 look 2 c when a bus would be arriving and the stop I was at never loaded nor did any other stops! I had 2 uninstall the app and download it again. Has this happened to any1 else? Also, I'd love 2 contribute to the "real rider time" but it kills my battery mostly bcuz my GPS is tracking my location the whole time & sometimes I'm on the bus for 20 min or so, wish it didn't track the entire time

4 ★I love this app and use it all the time. Agency schedules seem accurate. But the app works best when people feed it real-time data, and that's what's sorely lacking. People are glued to their smartphones on the bus - but I don't know how many of them know about this app. Would love to see some advertisement on the buses to help get the word out. Also - would love a button for "hasn't come yet" or something that might be useful for riders and PAT.

4 ★I ride the bus every day to work and have only just now found out about this app from an advertisement on a bus I was riding. I downloaded this right then and there and have recorded my trips ever since. I would hope more people would start contributing as well by recording their trips. Overall, I think this is a handy app for those who use public transit.

5 ★Very useful app when you know which buses you are taking or if you have a usual route. A nice addition would be some sort of trip planner like on the port authority site. Real-time (instead of a scheduled, but inaccurate estimation) stop arrival is shown when available. The more people use it, the better it will get. Brilliant idea! I hope it catches on.

3 ★Can see when a bus is due. Would be nice if it estimated destination arrival time and nicer if along the lines of Google maps where you can do multiple buses. It's nothing special. I'll stick to Google.

4 ★Haven't seen community updated route info yet, but have started contributing when I can. This app has great potential, I can't wait to see more users join and contribute.

5 ★This app is a great idea and I hope more folks get involved with it. I try recording mostly every trip. Pay attention Port Authority!!!

5 ★And the information for Port Authority (PAT) bus in Pittsburgh is right on the money. I just wish more people knew about this great app and the idea of it.
