Description
La aplicación de los LEP permite la búsqueda de una forma rápida de los límites de exposición profesional para agentes químicos en España adoptados por el INSST después de su aprobación por la Comisión Nacional de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo y se actualizan anualmente.El objetivo de esta aplicación es facilitar el cumplimiento del Real Decreto 374/2001 que establece la obligación del empresario de evaluar, entre otros, lo riesgos derivados de la exposición por inhalación a un agente químico peligroso , así como la restante legislación aplicable.
La búsqueda de la información se puede realizar por el nº CAS o nº CE, por el nombre del agente o por orden alfabético. En el primero de los casos es preciso conocer el número exacto; en el segundo la búsqueda revela todos los agentes químicos en los que están contenidos los caracteres tecleados, y el tercer caso se trata de una búsqueda alfabética ordenada por la inicial del compuesto (no números ni letras griegas).
Para la consulta de otra información adicional como documentación toxicológica para el establecimiento de los límites de exposición profesional, fichas de tomas de muestra de los contaminantes químicos en el aire y métodos de toma de muestra y análisis específicos, se remite a la página web del INSST.
